ABOUT US

Our Accreditations & Certifications

When you appoint a facilities management partner, you are trusting them with the safety, compliance and day-to-day running of your business. Our accreditations are the independently audited proof that we take that responsibility seriously.

Oculus Group holds a comprehensive suite of nationally recognised certifications spanning quality management, environmental responsibility, health and safety, security industry standards, contractor compliance and cyber security. Every one is earned through third-party assessment and maintained on an ongoing basis.

ISO Certifications

Oculus Group holds three ISO certifications, independently audited and covering quality, environment and health & safety across all of our operations.

ISO 9001 Accreditation

ISO 9001 - Quality Management

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for quality management systems. It means our processes and service delivery consistently meet defined benchmarks – and that we continuously improve them. For clients, this translates to reliable, measurable service quality on every contract, with clear procedures for issue resolution and management review.

  • Consistent service standards across all contracts and sites
  • Documented processes supporting your own compliance requirements
  • Regular audits driving continuous improvement

ISO 14001 - Environmental Management

ISO 14001 is the global standard for environmental management systems. It underpins our commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2026 – from the cleaning products our teams use to how we manage waste and vehicle routing. Environmental considerations are built into our operational decision-making, not treated as an afterthought.

  • Eco-friendly products and responsible waste disposal as standard
  • Supports your own ESG and environmental reporting obligations
  • Active, audited progress toward net zero

ISO 45001 - Occupational Health & Safety

ISO 45001 is the international standard for occupational health and safety management, replacing the former OHSAS 18001. For a business whose teams work at height, in occupied buildings and on high-risk sites, this framework is essential. Our certification means those safeguards are independently verified, not self-assessed.

  • Staff arrive on site properly trained, equipped and risk-assessed
  • Method statements, risk assessments and COSHH documentation provided as standard
  • Reduces your liability through verified contractor compliance

SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS)

The SIA Approved Contractor Scheme is the Home Office’s quality standard for the private security industry – widely regarded as the benchmark of excellence in the sector.

It is not self-declared; independent inspectors assess companies against criteria covering management systems, service delivery, and operative training and welfare. Oculus Security Solutions Ltd holds ACS status for Security Guarding and Key Holding, and our listing can be verified publicly on the SIA’s approved contractor register.

  • All security personnel SIA-licensed and vetted to BS 7858 standard
  • Independently inspected and scored
  • Meets procurement requirements specifying ACS-accredited providers

Contractor Compliance

CHAS - Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme

CHAS is one of the UK’s most widely recognised contractor pre-qualification schemes, assessing health and safety competency and legal compliance. Holding CHAS accreditation means Oculus has been independently assessed and approved, streamlining the procurement process for clients who require pre-qualified contractors.

  • Independently assessed health and safety compliance
  • Reduces pre-qualification burden for clients during procurement
  • Recognised across the public and private sectors

SafeContractor

SafeContractor is a leading third-party accreditation scheme assessing contractor health, safety and compliance. Businesses use it to vet and manage their supply chains, and approval means Oculus has met the required standards across health and safety policy, risk management and insurance.

  • Trusted by major organisations as a supply chain vetting standard
  • Demonstrates ongoing commitment to safe working practices

Constructionline Gold

Constructionline Gold is the highest tier of the UK’s leading procurement and supply chain management service. Gold status goes beyond the standard accreditation to include additional assessment against PAS 91 – the government’s standard pre-qualification questionnaire – covering environmental management, equality and diversity, and quality management systems.

  • Gold tier: the highest level of Constructionline accreditation
  • Assessed against PAS 91 government pre-qualification standards
  • Recognised across public sector and large private sector procurement

Cyber Essentials

Cyber Essentials is a UK government-backed scheme that certifies organisations have the fundamental cyber security controls in place to protect against the most common online threats. For a business that manages sensitive client site data, access control systems and security operations, protecting that information is as important as the physical security we provide.

  • Certified against government-defined cyber security controls
  • Protects client data and site information from common cyber threats
  • Required by many public sector and regulated industry clients
