Customer Need Identified

After a successful submission on a Contract Cleaning tender, Oculus Facilities Management were awarded the cleaning contract for the Contenur offices and workshop. 

We quickly identified the client had additional pain points that we could remedy, we suggested a needs analysis to be completed on the business to understand the challenges they were facing on all their facilities management services, the needs analysis was instrumental in recognising a number of issues with planned maintenance, security, waste management, reactive maintenance and some other soft FM services. 

The client’s willingness to be open and honest really paved the way for our senior management to make some relevant recommendations that would make huge efficiencies and relieve strain on resources trying to cope with facilities management obstacles.

As part of our evaluation process we come away from site following the needs analysis to discuss the findings as a team and begin the process of structuring our proposal and recommendations. For this client there were a long list of services that we strongly felt we could manage on their behalf and not only provide a financial saving but also take the pressure off the site manager allowing him to focus entirely on his on site duties. 

We made recommendations for a number of services including, Security, Planned & Reactive Maintenance, Window Cleaning, Gutter Cleaning, Waste Management, Drainage, Water Testing, Line Painting in addition to the contract cleaning already being undertaken.

Impact & Outcomes

Returning to site to present our proposal to a client is a very important part of the process, we pride ourselves on giving our clients solutions that make their lives easier.

Contenur UK listened to our recommendations and had great feedback from the value of our proposal which highlighted the impact these changes would have on their business, Contenur is a client we provide over 7 different FM services for monthly and even more on an Ad Hoc basis. Financially we have reduced some individual service costs by 50% not to mention the added value of a dedicated account manager at hand any time of the day to take the pressure off emergency issues and planned visits.
